   This Saturday at 1:00 PM, Holy Spirit Seniors Ben Verlander and Sean will suit up one more time this year for the 2012 Chamber Bowl Senior All-Star Game. The game will be played at Lambert High School, and will feature some of the top senior athletes in the area.
Details about the game can be found at the following link: http://nfftdclub.org/ Last Saturday, Sean and Ben attended a Player Evaluation session in preparation for this week's game. HSP's own Coach Terrence Ashe will be on the sidelines as an assistant coach for the South team. 
We had a pretty good crowd in the weigh room today building strong bodies and even stronger minds. The weight room will be open Wednesday and Thursday.
Players interested in working out in the weight room over the Christmas Break need to contact Coach Taylor.     On December 14th, Holy Spirit Prep's Sam Grisham attended the first day of 3 sessions as a part of the 1st Annual Muscle Milk Catalyst event at Competitive Edge Sports. This combine style event provided about 40 athletes from around the state the opportunity to show off their skills, but more importantly the athletes were taught how to train by some of the best trainers in the country. The CES trainers work with with collegiate and professional athletes at their state of the art facility in Duluth, GA. Muscle Milk Catalyst concluded with training activities on Sunday, December 16th. Sam was admittedly sore after the first couple of days, and will certainly have some good drills, and lifting activities or techniques to share with coaches and teammates.
